Inside Our Curriculum

Personalized, Blended Early Childhood Education

At Arenville Academy, our curriculum is designed to inspire lifelong learners through a balanced blend of academic readiness, emotional development, creative exploration, and spiritual grounding.

We offer an integrated early childhood curriculum that combines:

  • Kenya’s Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) – ensuring national alignment and structured learning outcomes.
  • Montessori principles – encouraging independence, hands-on discovery, and learning at each child’s natural pace.
  • Reggio Emilia approach – emphasizing creativity, inquiry, and learning through projects and expression.

What makes our curriculum unique is its faith-centered, nature-inspired foundation. Children are not just taught, they are guided, nurtured, and celebrated as whole beings. We recognize that learning happens best when children feel emotionally safe, socially connected, and spiritually rooted.

This holistic framework ensures that each child is not only prepared for formal schooling but is also grounded in values, confidence, and a love for learning.

Your Child’s Learning Journey Starts Here!

At Arenville Academy, we believe learning should be developmentally appropriate, emotionally supportive & full of joy. Our early years programs are designed to nurture your child’s growth from age 2 to 6, preparing them not just for school, but for life.

  • Play Group (Ages 2–3)

A gentle, loving introduction to learning where little ones begin exploring the world through sensory play, music, movement, and social interaction. We focus on building trust, emotional security, and joyful discovery in a safe, caring environment.

  • Nursery (Ages 3–4)

Our Nursery program builds foundational skills in communication, motor development, and emotional awareness. Children engage in guided exploration, expressive play, and nature-based learning to foster curiosity, independence, and joyful socialization.

  • Pre-Primary 1 (PP1) – Ages 4–5

PP1 introduces foundational literacy and numeracy while encouraging creativity and self-expression. Through project-based learning, children ask questions, make discoveries, and build friendships—developing problem-solving and collaborative skills.

  • Pre-Primary 2 (PP2) – Ages 5–6

As they prepare for Grade 1, learners engage with a more structured CBC-based preschool curriculum while still enjoying an engaging, child-centered approach. Emphasis is placed on communication, reasoning, creativity, and emotional self-regulation.
